3 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Jake Fraley isn't starting on Wednesday. The outfielder is hitting .143 with a .231 on-base percentage, a home run, and a stolen base in 39 plate appearances this season. He started at designated hitter on Tuesday but will head to the bench as the Reds take on the San Diego Padres and left-hander MacKenzie Gore. Brandon Drury is starting at designated hitter instead on Wednesday. Drury is batting .206 with a .270 on-base percentage and a pair of home runs in 37 plate appearances.
