3 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Jake Fraley (illness) was scratched from Friday's lineup, according to Daniel Kramer of MLB.com. Shed Long Jr. will now get the start in left and is batting ninth against the Angels. Kramer reports that Fraley was scratched because he was feeling under the weather, but that the illness is not COVID-19 related. Fraley has looked good at the plate this season, slashing .237/.409/.439 with seven homers, seven steals, 23 RBI and 18 runs scored over 40 games. Consider Fraley day-to-day for now, and expect him to return to the lineup within a day or two.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
