Jake Fraley Scratched With Toe Injury
2 years agoCincinnati Reds manager David Bell said that outfielder Jake Fraley (toe, knee) was scratched from the lineup while on a minor league rehab assignment with Triple-A Louisville on Saturday with a toe issue. Fraley has been on the injured list since May 1 with right knee inflammation, and now he's dealing with another ailment. The 27-year-old has gone 2-for-11 with a home run and a stolen base in the first four games of his rehab assignment, but it's unclear when he might return to the Reds now. Fraley had only five hits in 43 at-bats with a homer and three RBI in 15 games with the Reds before his injury, and he won't be guaranteed regular playing time in the outfield when he's activated from the injured list.
