Jake Fraley Steals Ninth Base
3 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Jake Fraley added another steal to his resume Saturday, swiping second base against the Toronto Blue Jays. The theft gives him nine on the season. Fraley went 1-for-3 with a walk from the ninth spot. Fraley has been very solid this season when he's been healthy, with an .803 OPS, eight homers, and those nine steals in just 145 at-bats. That projects out to a 30-30 season over 600 at-bats, though it's unlikely he would actually keep the pace. At this point, the only thing holding him back from being an add in all leagues is his spot at the bottom of the Seattle batting order.
