7 years agoArizona Diamondbacks third baseman Jake Lamb (ankle) was hit on his right ankle by a line drive, according to Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic. Indians infielder Erik Gonzalez hit a line drive with an exit velocity of 114 mph. Lamb stated he was fine and did not appear to have any issues. We will monitor this for the next couple of days to see if there are any lingering after-effects. Lamb will need his complete health as he attempts to match the power of past years in the new humidor-implemented Chase Field.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
