6 years agoArizona Diamondbacks third baseman Jake Lamb went 0-for-5 with a strikeout in Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Pirates. Lamb has now gone 0-for-10 in his last two games, and has recorded just eight hits in his last nine games, dropping his average to .209. Lamb is still providing power, having hit all four of his home runs since coming off the DL in mid May. He may still be working off the rust from his extended DL stint, and owners should expect his average to creep closer to his career mark of .249 as the season goes on.--Jonathan Chan - Rotoballer
