4 years agoThe Oakland Athletics have signed third baseman Jake Lamb to add to their infield depth after losing Matt Chapman (hip) for the remainder of 2020. Lamb was hitting .116 with just two runs and one RBI in 50 plate-appearances before being released by Arizona earlier this season. Lamb has some name-recognition in fantasy as he blasted a combined 59 homers between 2016 and 2017, but that might as well be a lifetime ago. The 29-year old has battled various injuries and struggled when he has played over the past three seasons. Lamb is not someone who should be rostered in fantasy.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
