3 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers have signed free-agent corner infielder Jake Lamb to a minor league deal. Lamb will make $1.5 million if he's on the major league roster in 2022. The 31-year-old lefty hitter was an All-Star for the Arizona Diamondbacks back in 2017, but he's fallen off since then and has slashed just .203/.308/.355 in the last four seasons with Arizona, the Oakland Athletics, Chicago White Sox and Toronto Blue Jays. Lamb hit a combined .194/.306/.368 with seven home runs, 19 RBI and 51 strikeouts in 170 plate appearances over 55 games with the White Sox and Blue Jays in 2021. He'll find it difficult to crack the Dodgers talented roster, especially if they sign superstar first baseman Freddie Freeman in free agency.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
