7 years agoThe Houston Astros activated outfielder Jake Marisnick (groin) from the disabled list when rosters expanded on Saturday. He had been out since Aug. 11, and he was hitting .421 with a 1.402 OPS in eight games to start August. He'll give the Astros a trusted defensive option late in games, and he should see starts here and there as well. Reliever Cionel Perez, the team's No. 4 prospect, was also called up Saturday. Perez isn't worth fantasy consideration, but Marisnick could be valuable as outfield depth in AL-only formats.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
