Jake Marisnick Hits Home Run In Loss
3 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Jake Marisnick went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's loss versus the Philadelphia Phillies. Marisnick gave the Cubs a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second inning, but it wouldn't be enough and the Cubs would end up getting crushed 13-3. Despite the home run, the veteran operates as the Cubs fourth outfielder and doesn't see enough playing time to warrant rostering. Marisnick is now hitting .242 with five home runs and 18 RBI.
