4 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Jake Marisnick went 1-for-1 with two runs scored, one walk, one stolen base and a solo home run in Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader versus the Los Angeles Dodgers. The veteran outfielder has quietly hit .277 this season with three home runs and 12 RBI. Marisnick saw most of his playing time with outfielder Joc Pederson sidelined, but Pederson was activated on Monday and his return will relegate Marisnick back to the bench. The outfielder is likely to see a couple starts a week, but he doesn't offer enough playing time to warrant being rostered at the moment.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
