7 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Jake Marisnick will get the start and hit ninth against the Mariners on Monday night. He is off to a rough start to begin the season, hitting .158 with 18 strikeouts in only 38 at-bats. Teammate Josh Reddick also has gotten off to a strong start, further eating into Marisnick's playing time. Marisnick gets the call against the left-hander James Paxton, a pitcher he has had limited (4-for-13) success against. The speedy center fielder also hit .266 with four home runs in 94 at-bats against left-handers in 2017. Marisnick will be a low-ceiling play in daily leagues with the potential to put one over the fence in this Monday matchup against the Mariners.--Joey C - RotoBaller
