3 years agoSan Francisco Giants relief pitcher Jake McGee earned his 19th save of the season in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Nationals. McGee entered the game to pitch the ninth inning up by two. He struck the first hitter out, got a ground out for the second out, allowed a two-out double, and finally got the third out on a line out. McGee has been a solid reliever for both the Giants and fantasy managers this season, converting all but two of his save opportunities with a 2.72 ERA, 0.88 WHIP, and 28.5% strikeout rate. It appears that he is once again the Giants' closer for now, so his fantasy value should remain high as long as he continues to pitch well.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
