4 years agoMinnesota Twins pitcher Jake Odorizzi was officially activated off the injured list on Saturday. The 30-year-old will be the corresponding move with Josh Donaldson's (calf) trip to the injured list. Odorizzi threw about 50 pitches when he faced live batters at Saint Paul and he said he expects to throw about 70-75 pitches against the Royals on Sunday. In what is a favorable matchup, it's reasonable to expect Odorizzi to go at least four innings- and perhaps even five if things are going smoothly.--Tim Capurso
