6 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Jake Odorizzi allowed the New York Mets to score three times over 4 2/3 innings in his start on Wednesday. He struck out three and walked four in the ballgame. Odorizzi once again struggled with his control, throwing just 41 of 71 pitches for strikes. On the year, he's walking 7.15 batters per nine innings, which has contributed to a 6.35 ERA. Odorizzi has flashed excellent stretches through his career, but his control continues to be an issue. He will look to get straightened out in his next start, which is scheduled to come against the Toronto Blue Jays. Toronto's offense has been bad enough that Odorizzi can be considered as a streamer despite his early-season struggles.--Matt T - RotoBaller
