Jake Odorizzi Excellent In Opening Day No-Decision
7 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Jake Odorizzi was excellent in his Opening Day start, holding the Baltimore Orioles scoreless over six innings while striking out seven and walking two. He had to settle for a no-decision as the Twins went on to lose 3-2 in 11 innings. It was quite the debut for the former Tampa Bay hurler, who came over to the Twins in an offseason trade. The 28-year-old immediately becomes an interesting name in fantasy, although it bears mentioning that he has struggled with consistency and the home run ball in the past. At the very least, he's worth an add if you have room on your roster.
