5 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi (hamstring) left his start Tuesday with tightness in his left hamstring. Odorizzi had a strong start through six innings allowing only one run on two hits with seven strikeouts, but left with the trainer after his warmup pitches in the seventh. Odorizzi is scheduled for a great matchup at Kansas City this Sunday, but with the Twins closing in on a playoff spot he may not make that start as the team will want to make sure he's healthy enough to pitch in October. If he pitches Odorizzi would be a must-start as he's finished the season strong striking out 47 batters in his last 33 innings.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
