4 years agoHouston Astros starter Jake Odorizzi lasted only three innings in the Astros 5-1 loss to the Red Sox on Thursday. Odorizzi (0-3) struggled with his control, walking three, and was surrendered a three-run home in the second inning. The 31-year-old was pulled after 76 pitches and his ERA jumped up to 7.16. Odorizzi simply does not look like the type of pitcher that in 2019 went 15-7 with a 3.51 ERA and a 10.08 K/9 rate. There is plenty of time to right the ship but, for now, Odorizzi is not an appealing fantasy option.--Joey C - RotoBaller
