5 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Jake Odorizzi allowed four runs in four innings in a 4-1 loss to the Kansas City Royals on Thursday. Odorizzi coughed up eight hits and walked one in the loss. The loss drops Odorizzi's record to 10-3 with a 2.58 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and 87 strikeouts in 80 1/3 innings of work. The veteran hurler has been one of the best pitchers in the American League this season but he has struggled in his last two starts, having allowed eight earned runs in 10 innings over that span. He will look to bounce back in his next start, which will come on Wednesday against the Tampa Bay Rays.--Matt T - RotoBaller
