2 years agoHouston Astros pitcher Jake Odorizzi (leg) threw a bullpen session on Saturday and could begin a rehab assignment soon. The veteran right-hander has thrown successful bullpen sessions over the past few weeks. He has been sidelined since May 16 due to strains and sprains to the ligaments of his right foot/ankle. The 32-year-old will continue to ramp up his activity and is on target to return in early July. He owned a 3.13 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 21:12 K:BB across 31 2/3 innings before the injury.
