4 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi (back) is "progressing", according to manager Rocco Baldelli. Baldelli said that Odorizzi will get a bullpen session in at some point this week and will then progress to facing live hitters. This makes it seem as if he'll be throwing on Monday or Tuesday, which means he could come off the Injured List and possibly pitch next weekend against the Cleveland Indians. It's worth noting that this is the best-case scenario. In all likelihood, Randy Dobnak will pitch in place of Odorizzi at least once more after a solid showing on Saturday.--Tim Capurso
