Jake Odorizzi To Start On Monday
2 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi (leg) is set to make his return to the mound on Monday against the Kansas City Royals. The right-hander has been sidelined since mid-May due to a left leg tendon strain. He was able to make it through a pair of rehab starts without any issues. That being said, the Astros plan on bringing back Odorizzi to the starting rotation for Monday's contest. He posted a 3.13 ERA over 31 2/3 innings in seven starts before landing on the injured list. Odorizzi could be a possible streaming option against the shaky Royals' offense.
