Jake Odorizzi With Rebound Performance Saturday
4 years agoMinnesota Twins pitcher Jake Odorizzi had a better start than in his first outing against Kansas City. Odorizzi went four innings, allowing three hits and two runs while fanning six batters. While he gave up the same amount of runs as his first start, he lasted one inning longer this time and clearly had better put-away stuff, as he retired the first eleven batters he faced. The 30-year-old looked a lot like the pitcher who struck out 178 batters in 159 2/3 innings in 2019. He'll look to keep improving when he takes the mound against Milwaukee.
