Jakobi Meyers Active For Week 1

2 years agoNew England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (knee) is officially active for the Week 1 season opener against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Meyers was limited in practice all week and was fully expected to suit up for this one. The 25-year-old was quarterback Mac Jones' favorite target in 2021, but the Patriots added former Dolphins wideout DeVante Parker in the offseason. New England's offense has been struggling all summer long without long-time offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels -- now the Las Vegas Raiders head coach -- so Meyers' fantasy stock is down entering this Week 1 matchup against an improved Dolphins defense.
