3 years agoDetroit Red Wings winger Jakub Vrana (shoulder) is set to make his season debut on Tuesday against the visiting Arizona Coyotes. The 26-year-old Czech product sustained a shoulder injury during training camp that required surgery, and he has not played in a game since May 8 of last year. After being acquired from the Washington Capitals during the truncated 2021 season, Vrana registered 11 points (eight goals, three assists) in 11 games played for the Red Wings. He is projected to start on a line with Tyler Bertuzzi and Pius Suter on Tuesday evening.--Chelena Goldman
