5 years agoWashington Capitals forward Jakub Vrana spoiled the St. Louis Blues banner-raising celebration, scoring the overtime winner to send the visiting team home with their first win of the season. The Capitals came back from a two-goal deficit on goals from Alex Ovechkin and Dmitry Orlov to force overtime. The Capitals will head to Long Island for a date with the New York Islanders on Thursday night before heading back to Washington for their home opener on Saturday. --Nate Duffett
