4 years agoTampa Bay Rays relief pitcher Jalen Beeks left his appearance on Tuesday with the team’s assistant athletic trainer after suffering an unknown injury. Beeks had been superb over his first 11 appearances this season with a 1.74 FIP and a 33% strikeout rate, and he tossed another 1.1 innings of shutout baseball before leaving the game on Tuesday. The Rays tend to distribute their bullpen innings across the entire bullpen, so fantasy players shouldn’t expect any of the individual Rays relievers to see their fantasy values skyrocket if Beeks misses time.--Sam Chinitz
