3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Jalen Guyton made the most of his opportunity in a Week 14 victory against the New York Giants. The speedy pass catcher caught all three of his targets for 87 yards and a touchdown. Guyton's touchdown came on a 59-yard pass from quarterback Justin Herbert and it's the second time that he's found the end zone in as many weeks. Wide receiver Keenan Allen's (COVID-19) absence played a big part as to why Guyton saw more playing time this afternoon, but he is expected to return in Week 15 versus the Kansas City Chiefs. If Allen returns, Guyton will be bumped back down to his No. 3 role with less snaps and opportunities. For now, managers can hold onto Guyton, but if Allen suits up on Thursday, Guyton is nothing more than an insurance policy for Allen and wide receiver Mike Williams.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
