Jalen Guyton - Week 14 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Jalen Guyton had his best game of the season in Week 13 versus the Cincinnati Bengals with four receptions for 90 yards and a touchdown. It came at a good with the Chargers top two wide receivers, Keenan Allen (COVID-19) and Mike Williams (COVID-19) both on the reserve/COVID-19 list ahead of a Week 14 matchup versus the New York Giants. Williams hasn't tested positive, but is on the list as a close contact and has a better chance to suit up over Allen. More information on both receivers should be known prior to Sunday, but Guyton would play a big role in the offense if one or both miss Week 14. If that's the case, Guyton could be a valuable sleeper against a Giants defense allowing 150 yards and a touchdown per game to wide receivers. If both Allen and Williams are absent on Sunday, Guyton is certainly worth a dart throw as a WR3. Should only one of Allen or Williams miss Sunday's contest, the speedy wide receiver should still be considered by managers, but as more of a flex option with WR3 upside. With plenty of scenarios on the table, managers should roster Guyton and also keep tabs on the statuses of Williams and Allen entering Sunday.
