5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jalen Hurd caught three passes for 31 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's preseason win over the Dallas Cowboys. Hurd caught touchdowns from both C.J. Beathard and Nick Mullens, and the rookie made a big impact at the right time, as the team announced Saturday that wide receiver Trent Taylor is sidelined with a broken foot. Hurd could earn his way into some of Taylor's snaps while he's sidelined, and he has a ton of upside when he's on the football field. Keep an eye on his usage as the preseason continues, but it's still too early to draft him in re-draft if you're drafting early.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
