3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (illness) returned to practice on Sunday. Hurts had to go to the hospital right before the Eagles preseason game against the New England Patriots on Thursday. He was experiencing severe abdominal pain and was eventually diagnosed with a stomach infection. A few days of rest allowed him to feel well enough to make it back to practice ahead of Friday's final preseason action, a game against the Jets. While starters don't generally play in that game, the fact that Hurts missed all of the second game may mean he gets a few snaps in the first half on Friday. As long as he's healthy, Hurts will be in the QB1 conversation each week because of his high floor thanks to his rushing ability.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
