Jalen Hurts - Week 1 Outlook for Fantasy Football
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts goes on the road to open the regular season in a favorable matchup against the Detroit Lions. Last season, Detroit allowed the seventh-most fantasy points per game to the quarterback position. They also allowed 31 passing touchdowns, tied for the third-most. With an upgraded skills position group comprised of wide receivers A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Quez Watkins, Zach Pascal, and tight end Dallas Goedert, Hurts has a chance to take a step forward in terms of his passing production in 2022. That step forward should start in Week One. With Hurts ranked as the No. 1 overall fantasy QB through the first 11 weeks of the season last year, he should have no problem against a bottom 15 defense to open the regular season. Fire him up as a locked-in QB1 with top-five potential in Week 1.
