Jalen Reagor 2020 Outlook: Philly's New WR1
4 years agoEagles' wide receiver Jalen Reagor steps into an odd WR room as a rookie. Veterans Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson are established, notable starters whose best days are likely behind the due to injury. However, they are still roadblocks for Reagor who will be looking to take over as the WR1 immediately. Reagor is incredibly skilled. He might be short but he is built, fast, and athletic enough to make tough catches. Reagor has all the makings of an alpha wide receiver and will be commanding that workload sooner than later. There are rumors that Jeffery is not healthy enough to start the season (if it begins on time) and may end up on the PUP list to start the year. If that were to happen, Reagor becomes an instant target in redraft earlier than his ADP. DJax is not a target hog and Wentz can only throw to his tight ends and running backs so much. It is not unreasonable to see Reagor targeted in the triple-digits as a rookie if Jeffery becomes unavailable.
