Jamaal Williams Leads Lions In Rushing In Loss
3 years agoDetroit Lions running back Jamaal Williams carried the ball 15 times for 65 yards and added five receptions for 18 yards in the Lions Thanksgiving loss to the Bears. After the Lions lost star running back D'Andre Swift early to a shoulder injury, Williams stepped up to fill the void. He posted some solid runs in the game and his five receptions is a solid indicator of his possible fantasy value if Swift has to miss time moving up. The Lions offense is terrible but Williams could be in line for an increased workload moving forward if Swift's shoulder injury keeps him on the sidelines in the coming weeks.
