3 years agoDetroit Lions running back Jamaal Williams is expected to start in Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers, according to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network. Williams will get early down work, with D'Andre Swift working on third downs. Swift had a groin injury last week, but had practiced in full this week, so this is an interesting move. Williams has more value than we thought he did, while Swift shouldn't be considered a must-start. Maybe things will change as the season progresses, but it sounds like the Lions backfield is set to be a fantasy minefield once again.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
