Jamal Adams Needs Surgery
2 years agoSeattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that All-Pro safety Jamal Adams (quadriceps, knee) will need surgery on his serious quad/knee injury that he suffered early in the Monday night win over the Denver Broncos in Week 1. The Seahawks don't have a firm timetable yet, but it doesn't look good for Adams. The oft-injured 26-year-old is reportedly dealing with an injury that's related to the quadriceps tendon of his left knee. Adams will almost surely be put on Injured Reserve, and it remains to be seen if he'll be able to return in 2022. Fantasy managers in IDP leagues will need to search for new starting options in Week 2, while Adams' loss is a huge blow to Seattle's secondary. Josh Jones replaced Adams on Monday night and should be the starter moving forward.
