2 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars are unsure if wide receiver Jamal Agnew (hip) will be ready in time before the start of the regular season. It was reported earlier this offseason that Agnew felt that he was ahead of schedule in his recovery from a season-ending hip injury last year, so he might have suffered a setback along the way. The 27-year-old only managed to play in 10 games last year, recording 24 catches for 229 yards and one touchdown on 39 targets. He also returned 11 punts and 22 kickoffs for the special teams unit. The arrivals of Christian Kirk and Zay Jones will likely push Agnew further down the receiving depth chart, especially if he's not ready for Week 1.
