Jameis Winston A QB2 For Season Opener

2 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Jameis Winston will open the 2022 season in an away divisional clash with the Atlanta Falcons. Winston looked sharp in limited preseason work and has a great matchup here in Week 1 against an Atlanta defense that gave up the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks last season. It would obviously be a big boost for Winston if Michael Thomas (hamstring) is able to play, but he should still be able to get the job done with Jarvis Landry and Alvin Kamara as primary receiving options. Winston is not a recommended play in standard leagues, but fantasy managers should view him as a QB2 with upside in superflex and two-QB formats.--Jorden Hill - RotoBaller
