3 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Jameis Winston (knee), who tore his ACL on Halloween last year, is expected to be ready for training camp this summer "if everything continues to go smoothly with his rehab," according to a league source. Winston and the Saints agreed on a two-year deal on Monday to run it back another season in 2022 after the Saints lost out in the Deshaun Watson sweepstakes. The 28-year-old signal-caller threw 14 touchdowns and four interceptions while recording 1,170 passing yards in seven games before his season-ending knee injury. He was pretty efficient and will get receiver Michael Thomas back this season, but Winston will be more of a game manager for the Saints and will profile as a solid fantasy backup.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
