James Conner An RB3 In Week 17
4 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner broke a four-game scoreless streak with a touchdown in his team's Week 16 win over the Indianapolis Colts. The touchdown and five catches for 45 yards masked yet another slow rushing day for Conner, who has topped 47 rushing yards just once in his last six games. Conner will face off against the Cleveland Browns in Week 17. Cleveland's run defense has been decent this season and the Browns should be properly motivated as they are still fighting for a playoff spot. Pittsburgh, on the other hand, has the AFC North division title locked up and is already resting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in Week 17. Conner could have a short afternoon, as well, if Pittsburgh decides to pull the rest of their starters early. Fantasy gamers should treat Conner as a high-end RB3 for the regular season finale.
