James Conner Out; Benny Snell Jr. To Start
4 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner (quadriceps) has been ruled out of his team's game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night. Benny Snell Jr. will get the start at running back in Conner's place. Conner appeared to be trending up after getting in limited practices this week, but the team apparently doesn't feel that he is ready to play. The entire Pittsburgh running game has struggled over the past month, leaving Snell as a shaky flex option against the Bengals in Week 15 despite the solid matchup. Rookie Anthony McFarland Jr. and Jaylen Samuels should also chip in with some backfield touches against Cincy.
