James Conner, Rondale Moore Inactive Against The Colts
3 years agoArizona Cardinals running back James Conner (heel) and wide receiver Rondale Moore (ankle) are inactive for Saturday's game against the Indianapolis Colts. Conner did not practice all week due to a heel injury and was questionable heading into Saturday's contest. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported earlier today that Conner was expected to play, but in a recent turn of events, the running back was ruled out. Chase Edmonds will lead Arizona's backfield while Eno Benjamin will provide a chance of pace. Edmonds becomes and low-end RB2 against a Colts defense that ranks fourth in rush DVOA. Moore was unable to practice this week and ultimately ended up being ruled out for Week 16. A.J. Green and Christian Kirk should see an uptick in targets while Moore is sidelined. Conner and Moore's next chance to return will be Week 17 versus the Dallas Cowboys.
