James Conner Scores, Leaves With Possible Concussion
6 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner carried the ball 13 times for 65 yards and a touchdown in his team's dominant 52-21 win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 10. The second-year running back found the end zone on a two-yard run in the first quarter, capping off a 61-yard drive. Conner was removed from the game early in the fourth quarter and could be seen heading into the blue medical tent on the sideline, presumably to be checked for a concussion. It is unclear whether he was unable to return or if the Steelers held him out due to the game being out of hand. Signs are pointing toward Le'Veon Bell returning to the team in Week 11, which could make this backfield a bit of a headache going forward. Pittsburgh will face the Jacksonville Jaguars next.
