3 years agoArizona Cardinals running back James Conner (heel) is officially inactive for Week 17 against the Dallas Cowboys. Conner missed the first two practices of the week before being limited on Friday, which gave him a chance to be active this weekend. However, the Cardinals will keep him out for the second straight game. It's a tough blow for fantasy managers that were relying on Conner and his touchdown prowess in their championship matchups. Chase Edmonds will serve as Arizona's lead back for the second straight week against Dallas. The 25-year-old had a season-high 16 carries for 56 yards and caught eight of nine targets for 71 yards with Conner sidelined last week.
