James Conner Tops 100 Yards, Finds End Zone
4 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner had a nice game in a 26-21 win over the Denver Broncos in Week 2. Conner carried the ball 16 times for 106 yards and a touchdown and added two catches for 15 yards in the win. It was a solid, albeit somewhat unexpected, outing for Conner, who left Week 1's win early with an ankle injury. There were some concerns as to whether Conner would see a full workload in Week 2 but he put those to bed easily as he dominated the backfield work for the Steelers. With his strong performance, Conner is squarely back in the RB2 conversation moving forward. Pittsburgh will face the Houston Texans at home in Week 3.
