3 years agoArizona Cardinals impending free-agent running back James Conner said that he'd love to return to the team this offseason. Conner had a monster year in his first season with the Cardinals, producing 752 yards and 15 rushing touchdowns on 202 carries in 2021. He also added 37 receptions on 39 targets for 375 receiving yards and another three touchdowns as Arizona's most productive running back. With fellow RB Chase Edmonds also up for free agency, re-signing Conner could make a lot of sense. Receivers Christian Kirk and A.J. Green and tight ends Zach Ertz and Maxx Williams will also be free agents, so the Cardinals have important decisions to make for their offense. If Conner re-signs and Edmonds goes elsewhere, the 26-year-old would have low-end RB1 fantasy value heading into 2022 as the Cardinals lead back.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
