James Conner Will Play Monday Night
3 years agoFOX Sports' Jay Glazer said on Sunday that Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner (ribs) will play in Monday night's wild-card game against the Los Angeles Rams. Conner missed practice on Thursday and Friday before returning to a limited session on Saturday, but head coach Kliff Kingsbury said earlier in the week that Conner would be a game-time decision this week. The 26-year-old was the RB5 in fantasy scoring during the regular season, thanks to 18 total touchdowns, but he'll be in a timeshare with Chase Edmonds in Arizona's backfield against a tough Rams defense on the road on Monday night. In two games against LA this year, Conner had 31 carries for 81 yards (2.61 yards per carry) and four rushing TDs, adding 11 receptions for 110 yards, but Edmonds missed the second game against the Rams.
