James Kaprielian Allows Two Runs In No-Decision At Texas
3 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher James Kaprielian allowed two runs on five hits across six innings pitched versus the Rangers on Wednesday. Kaprielian picked up four strikeouts and walked a batter. He left in line for the win, but the bullpen couldn't hold the lead, forcing the right-hander to settle for a no-decision. Kaprielian has been a solid find for the A's and fantasy managers alike this season as he's got a 2.86 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and 46 strikeouts in 44 innings. He's got a strong swinging strike rate at 11.2 percent and induced another 11 swinging strikes in this game on only 82 pitches. He's a start-worthy fantasy option in all leagues in a rematch with the Rangers next time out.
