James Kaprielian Earns Win In Return From IL
3 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher James Kaprielian allowed two runs on three hits and two walks to earn the victory Sunday afternoon versus the Rangers. Kaprielian was efficient in this one as he fired 52 of 84 pitches for strikes while earning four K's in his first start since landing on the injured list with a shoulder injury. The 27-year-old rookie has been a revelation for the A's this season as he's 6-4 with a 3.22 ERA, a 1.14 WHIP, and an 83/29 K/B across 78 1/3 innings. He's a strong fantasy option next time out in a rematch against the Rangers.
