3 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher James Kaprielian had another strong outing against the Angels on Tuesday as he whiffed seven across six shutout innings to earn his fifth win. The right-hander scattered five hits and two walks while lowering his ERA to 2.65 on the season. Kaprielian has been outstanding this year as he's allowed more than three runs just once across 12 starts while posting an above-average 26.3 percent strikeout rate. He'll face a strong Padres lineup in his next start, but at this point, Kaprielian has earned the trust of fantasy managers and can be started despite a difficult matchup.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
